Hmmmm, dare I add to this topic??? Sure I can!

Anyone care to let me know if there is a timber yard in the same area? I'm after sheet material ie plywood and some rough sawn timber about 50x75 to make up some shuttering to help me progress my project.

!!!! OK I believe there is a Carpintera on the outskirts of town on the Fortuna road, but there is no full blown timber yard that I have found, nearest probably in Novelda??

Even if i lived over your side, I would go to the wood yard at Novelda, if you come out of Novelda on the road to Agost, it is just under the A31 Madrid road on the right hand side on the corner.

Very helpfull, and carry all types of wood and boar dings etc.

Thank you both of you. Morley I know the one you mean in Fortuna, set right back from the road about 300 metres on the right as you approach from fortuna banos. Not been to the one at Novelda, have to go have a nosy at that one. Being a diy geek comes at a price

Now how spooky is that? Just done a google route plan to see how far Novelda was from us, it is 25 miles, yep I still work in imperial, from our place in either direction to reach either Novelda or Fortuna. Novelda it will be then cos we have never been out that way, see some different scenery.

Did`nt think your directions were very clear. The better builder (nicer people and helpfull where as Diego dont seem to have much time for the Brits unless you speak fluent spanish)
From Yecla go into Pinoso but don`t turn right after the Red Cross place and the barranca (flood gully), go straight ahead for about 300m to a big red warehouse/building on the left.
The owners daughter runs the tile shop in Pinoso. She is very helpfull and speaks good english.
