Does your iPad charge from your computer? Mine doesnt.?, posted: December 27, 2011, 10:17

I read that iPad is supposed to charge from your computer like the iPhone. But mine won't charge from either my Dell or my Mac. It DOES sync...the cord works. But no charge unless I use the A/C adapter. Is this just the way it is apple accessories ipad2 cases leather ipad 2 case

Sorry for the long delay, only just started to really look through the forums. It's a problem with the output from a PC's USB sockets - they just are not designed to provide sufficient power. Apple computers have been altered to fix this issue though. Newer PC's don't have the same limits, or you could try using a POWERED USB hub (borrow one from a friend to try it - I don't have an iPad to test it with).
